“Nothing rules forever”… We need some Argentine supporters, not Anti-Brazilian supporters!!
I wonder who supported Argentina before the so-called “Goal by the Hand of God”!… Anyway, we must confess that Brazil failed to present a classic game from their side.
I humbly request all my friends not to behave or write in the way that might hurt someone’s ego. You really don’t have any right to hurt anyone’s ego. (You can also remove me from your friend-list if you want me to teach you courtesy. I’m not such a great teacher!) A person with least the sense of personality never does it. I confess that Brazil failed to play the game we really expect from them. This never means that they’re not a deserving team for this World Cup. Let’s not be just stereotypical, rather be logical. Thanks.
… Thank you for conveying your thought… What if Brazil or Argentina or Germany or Netherlands or any team else wins the cup or not? No one would attribute the credit to us, that is, our nation, our country. What we can merely expect as ordinary viewers is just a good game and better criticism. We needn’t be fanatic about the result, nobody would pay the least tribute for such ‘loyalty’!… Let’s hold our thumbs up for the team that really deserves it. An impartial view always makes things better. Thanks.
… If Bangladesh lost today’s match, I would shoulder the shame willingly. Now, what we can keep our fingers crossed for is just a fair match and better impartial game. I don’t know how amply would the fanatic supporters be rewarded for their ‘loyalty’…. I’m sure that even in Brazil or Argentina there are not so many ‘stupid’ flag hoisting competitions as we’ve seen in our country…. Let’s wait for enjoying fair matches…
… Boss, I can hardly tolerate any stupidity or inappropriate manner while communicating with others. I’ve just written what I’ve felt about it, not even tried to deliver any lecture on it. Who am I to persuade people? People know better about what they think. Thanks.
… I’ve already written about my feelings on today’s match. The match was a total fiasco leading the supporters to the uttermost frustration. Brazil really deserved such a disastrous doom. Hope they will learn from this match…. As my country isn’t there, I find it useless to be fanatic about any team. Supporting a team and being fanatic about that team don’t convey the same. I just expressed my bitter satirical view about the freaky supporters…. Looking forward to watching better matches. Thanks.
… The players deserve the credit of most of the Blame-games rather than the game and blame themselves!…lol
… Thank you all for sharing your valuable views on my wall. Though ours is not a World Cup playing country, we always look forward to any genuine source of entertainment. Interestingly enough, the whole country is literally divided into two groups: Argentine and Brazilian (compare the initial letters as found in Awamileague and BNP!). The people of the first-world countries are not so crazy about football as we seem to be (ask an American or a British or a French or anyone from any participant country else). However, we’re quite happy with our little bliss, sorrows. We live by our smiles and tears sharing our excitements and frustrations together. Such goes on our life…
I’ve always been and am still a Brazilian supporter. The match of the last evening was a total fiasco and dumped me like other supporters. It’s true that they failed to play the classic rhythmic football as we, the ordinary viewers, expect from them. Mr. Dunga is largely responsible for such a disaster, as popularly believed. The Argentine players are really presenting a fair game contrary to the performance they showed in the last World Cup (they had to bid a goodbye from the first round). Their playing style really deserves praise. I’m really grateful to them for presenting the rhythm that the Brazilian footballers was once accustomed to. Hope they will keep this spirit up in the match of this evening against another top favourite Germany. Wish them all the best…..

Where is “The Hand of God”?
Hmm… He is, after all, a great history teacher always!…. Leave all these… Let’s wish the Brazilian and Argentine players a safe return to their home!

Argentine and Brazilian players should form a “friendship committee “!!
A convener for the committee is urgently needed!!……….. lolzzzz

Dear Argentine fans, be happy thinking that Argentina has escaped at least 2 more goals!
It’s the time for Brazil & Argentina to be back to earth!!

Most Bangladeshi people are not supporters, they anti-supporters of either Brazil or Argentina… Thanks Netherlands! Thanks Germany!!
Friends!! Thanks for reading me. Let’s wait and see who bags the WC. Looking forward to feeling the excitement to the full

Where are my Argentine supporter friends? Please come out of the cocoon. Sing Waka waka!!
…….. Thank you for your constructive comment. I’m really for if you felt offended last night by someone in my wall………. You’re right. Argentine and Brazilian players will be back at home. But the fact is, we’ll be here sharing our feelings of smiles and tears. World Cup discussions are just the moment’s suspension, nothing else!!
……… It’s entertainment time. It’s party time. Let’s have fun as much as we can!!
……. Sir, don’t you think that your comments are turning from cheap to cheaper? I ask for your self-restraint keeping apart this momentary WC issue. We mutually know ourselves for quite a long time, and any misunderstanding is fully unwarranted here!! I highly discourage any type of offensive comment on my wall. Thanks.
I wish the Brazilian and Argentine players a safe return to their home!!

Dunga & Maradona —- VILLAINS of the week!!… Winners always write the history.

Heroes aren’t those who say what they can do. Heroes are those who show what they can do — the lesson for Brazil & Argentina.
Friends!! Variable is the only constant!!…………….. Let’s plan for the worst while hoping for the best!!……….. Looking forward to enjoying fair matches from the existing teams……….
……. Dost, I’m taking all your soliloquy easily!! Winners enjoy the victory, “the tragic heroes” enjoy being the elements of tragedies. I never thought that you’re such a great tragedy-connoisseur!!………… As an ordinary viewer, I’m not supposed to instruct the players, but as professional players, they’re supposed (and required) to understand the ordinary viewers’ feelings and play accordingly……. Anyway, we must thank Brazil & Argentina for losing and thus giving others an opportunity heading towards the WC!!

…. Only the persons who lack the sense of personality disrespect others’ feelings to hide their own weak points. We must uplift the sense of self-dignity to ignore such people…. Thanks.
…. Selfishness usually consists of two aspects: Self-centredness and Self-consciousness. The first one degrades our acceptability to others while the second one creates newer dimensions of acceptability to others….. Thanks.

Friends! What is the most important quality that makes a man ‘a gentleman’? Please share your opinion…
A polished man is bound to win the hearts of many ladies. This is one quality of a gentleman that is most sought after by a lot of women. A true gentleman would always be aware of the way he presents himself to others.
A true gentleman is one who knows how to behave in public and is careful about his etiquette. Such a gentleman would always be well dressed and this does not mean sporting brands. A neat and well-groomed personality is a sure sign of a gentleman.
A gentleman always keeps his word.
A thorough gentleman will always mind his manners and would always appreciate others.
A thorough gentleman always carries himself with grace.
A complete gentleman would always command authority in a mild manner. This quality of a gentleman will help him earn respect at work and also impress his ladylove.
A gentleman can also have the quality of being a fun person; gentlemen are not necessarily boring people! A fine sense of humor combined with intelligent conversational skills can show the true spirit of a thorough gentleman.
These are just a few qualities of a gentleman mentioned out here; the list can be never ending! Therefore, I am sure many women would know by now, they should draw the line!
…. That’s the goal, not the means. Thanks.
…… Straightforwardness pays better, even if it doesn’t, there is always something left to feel paid!! Thanks.
……. I think, these three qualities must be attributed to oneself at first. Others around naturally feel the result. Thanks.
……. Thanks for sharing your view. Would you please tell me how can a person live without assuming and expecting? I agree to your last point.
……. Thanks for your comment. I’d like to put forward your view in a somewhat modified way………”If you wanna be only gentle you must not be outspoken outspokenly…” (Being outspoken is important for being honest to yourself.)
……. That’s the initiative when someone really needs to take it. Thanks.
……. Thanks for sharing your idea. I think, a gentleman is the man who respects ladies and make a woman behave like a lady while talking to him!!
….. Really a highly commendable comprehensive approach you’ve furnished here!! Let me add some…..
A gentleman is someone who has a respect for those around him, and will act in an honoring fashion, even in the face of adversity. That doesn’t mean he won’t disagree, but if he does, it will not disrespect or look down upon the other’s belief.
He interprets everything for the best. He does not stoop to meanness in disputes. Even towards his enemies he behaves in a manner as if they were going to his friends one day.
A true gentleman is one who hurts nobody either by words or by deeds. He tries his best to make everyone feel at ease. He freely offers his helps towards removing difficulties from the path of others. He is very considerate and carefully avoids controversial discussion. He never monopolizes conversation. He is never offended at the follies of those he is talking with. If he does a favour to any person he does not let him feel that he has done any. He is not self-centered. He does not attend to idle gossips.
Please feel free to add some more if you have any. Thanks!!
…… Thanks a lot for reading me and writing on my wall. A true gentleman is polite to everyone, in action and words. A gentleman tells about others more politely than he is supposed to. He never becomes a slave to the moment, rather tries to make the moment his slave. A sense of self-respect never lets him attack others making things objectionable. Please feel free to add some more if you feel like adding.
Dear friends, apart from the points I’ve furnished above, most importantly, I think, a gentleman must not do anything that might cause inconvenience or discomfort to another person. Thanks a lot for sparing your time to read me and write on my wall.
……. It’s really a great pleasure of mine to see your dignified presence on my wall. I sincerely feel honoured to be in the midst of your thoughts!! Thanks. Now, please let me share more…………
It is almost a definition of a gentleman to say he is one who never inflicts pain. This description is both refined and, as far as it goes, accurate. He is mainly occupied in merely removing the obstacles which hinder the free and unembarrassed action of those about him; and he concurs with their movements rather than takes the initiative himself.
The true gentleman in like manner carefully avoids whatever may cause ajar or a jolt in the minds of those with whom he is cast; — all clashing of opinion, or collision of feeling, all restraint, or suspicion, or gloom, or resentment; his great concern being to make everyone at their case and at home.
He has his eyes on all his company; he is tender towards the bashful, gentle towards the distant, and merciful towards the absurd; he can recollect to whom he is speaking; he guards against unseasonable allusions, or topics which may irritate; he is seldom prominent in conversation, and never wearisome. He makes light of favours while he does them, and seems to be receiving when he is conferring.
He never speaks of himself except when compelled, never defends himself by a mere retort, he has no ears for slander or gossip, is scrupulous in imputing motives to those who interfere with him, and interprets everything for the best.
He is never mean or little in his disputes, never takes unfair advantage, never mistakes personalities or sharp sayings for arguments, or insinuates evil which he dare not say out. From a long-sighted prudence, he observes the maxim of the ancient sage, that we should ever conduct ourselves towards our enemy as if he were one day to be our friend.
He has too much good sense to be affronted at insults, he is too well employed to remember injuries, and too indolent to bear malice. He is patient, forbearing, and resigned, on philosophical principles; he submits to pain, because it is inevitable, to bereavement, because it is irreparable, and to death, because it is his destiny. If he engages in controversy of any kind, his disciplined intellect preserves him from the blunder.
Last but not the least, I earnestly further invite more of your ideas about a gentleman if you would like to add to mine. Thanks.
….. Dada, it’s really nice to find you on my wall after a long consummate silence. I highly appreciate your idea focusing on the relativity aspect of the concept of a gentleman. Add to your commendable thoughts, please let me write a few lines…….
Contrary to popular belief, being a gentleman is neither a case of having a certain education nor a certain ancestry. It is, in many ways, almost a system of belief that governs a man’s actions in every part of his life. It is also something that anyone can achieve and that brings its own rewards.
Historically speaking, the title of ‘gentleman’ was restricted to the gentry, those of noble birth: men who had the right to their own coat of arms and whose significant wealth was derived from property and inheritance rather than work. Over time and with the many social changes of the last couple of hundred years, the term widened to include men of independent fortune without nobility and eventually became a polite term for all men. In modern times, the word is used as a measure of a person’s conduct rather than their financial or social standing.
So, what does it mean to be a gentleman in the 21st Century? Primarily, it means subscribing to a superior standard of conduct. This is not a suggestion to feel superior to other people; rather it implies being considerate, polite and calm.
By remaining calm in a difficult situation, the gentleman spreads a feeling of security and confidence in those around him. In turn, this opens up the possibility of a positive outcome by mutual agreement and compromise, rather than a competitive butting of heads. The rewards for such activity are obvious: not only does the gentleman gain the respect of all involved, but also the reputation of being a reliable, solid influence in an overly complex world.
Honesty, integrity and fair play are some of the hallmarks of a real gentleman. A firm belief in equality of the sexes and all races, creeds and colours – is the basic building block of respect, both given and received. The gentleman should never seek an unfair advantage over an adversary in competition but instead should try his utmost to achieve the best he can at all times.
It also means attempting to further oneself intellectually and culturally. Admittedly, that’s a bit of an extrapolation on my part, stemming from the desire to remain considerate. By learning more about as many different subjects and cultures as possible, the gentleman not only stays on top of things, but also shows respect for people with a different background. This can be as simple as knowing how to say “hello” to a foreign visitor or as complicated as having a layman’s knowledge of a companion’s profession. Once again, payback comes in the form of mutual respect, with the additional benefit of remaining true to one’s ideals.
Being polite and showing respect are, of course, the essence of being a gentleman. That’s not to say that a gentleman is a fawning wimp. Quite the contrary, in fact: he is frequently an immovable resistance where morals or justice are concerned. By his exercising a polite and friendly attitude, tense situations can be handled with aplomb and all parties involved get to express their beliefs and concerns, leading to a deeper understanding for everyone. A reputation as a diplomatic, reasonable individual can lead to great things.
A gentleman is protective of the people for whom he cares, but not possessive. Once again, the aura of being a solid, reliable individual is essential. There is no need for macho displays of territoriality when one is comfortable with oneself and remaining honest and true will ensure that a companion, friend or acquaintance knows exactly where they stand at all times.
Above all, I believe the question of what being a gentleman means can be answered by quoting one of my closest friends: “A gentleman always tries to make sure that the other person feels comfortable.”

Is poverty a curse of honesty? Or, is honesty an excuse of poverty? Friends, what’s your opinion?
I think, there are two ways of being honest… Being honest to our passion… And, being passionate for our honesty… The first way elevates our personality… The second one raises our conceit subconsciously and we develop a dishonest attitude in our thoughts and actions…. Most of the poor people are poor because they don’t want or simply don’t know how to think and work for wealth, yet fabricate stories of honesty only as the means of self-complacency!! Being honest is only being committed to what we’re and what we want to be….

Music makes or unmakes my mind. I live with music, by music.
Dear friends… Life feels so good…. AAll IzZ Welll!!……. Music is magic, magic is music.
Our life is a song, the best gift bestowed upon us during our birth……. Let’s live for it. Let’s sing for it. Life is a music heard by soul, not by ears.
Music never lies, even we can never lie when there is music in our soul. I think, music defines what life is, to be more precise, what life is supposed to be.
Our soul echoes when music stops. When our soul stops, music echoes. We can never listen to it until we feel it.
Music makes me feel the subtle presence of my soul. My thoughts soar higher and higher with music searching the royal road to eternity. Hats off to the singers and musicians. They’re the greatest magicians the world has ever seen.
I feel my moods best through music… My emotion raises my heart when I bath in music.

It has always been a mystery to me how men can feel themselves honoured by the humiliation of their fellow beings. — M K Gandhi.
I think, when we attack a person’s personality, we reveal our weakness of mind lowering our own personality. Self-dignity always breeds from respect for others’ feelings.

Dear friends! Do you think that a teenaged or a young boy/girl most often confuses ‘smartness’ with ‘shamelessness’?
Being extrovert and being shameless are never synonymous!!
I often wonder, whether an idiot generation complacent with and proud of its stupidity is a gift of civilization or, civilization can’t but make its way perverted to some silly idiots making them victims of a so-called smart culture!!
Now, we’ve a generation whose members claim themselves to be the followers of western essence, but they’re just blind slaves of western culture!! They never bother about inner illumination; they just try to fool away their gender-based counterparts through their outer stupid gestures. Is it not a sheer crisis of civilization?
I often sigh for my studious youth! What will be left for them to sigh over when they’ve passed the youth? We also passed our teenage. We enjoyed being silly, doing foolish acts but felt the urge to be out of that track too and accordingly, did something to turn out to be smart. I wonder, how can some of their heads work without brain!! They never feel sorry for their ignorance. They hate reading poetry but like writing it!! They never try to know what love it but fall in love 24 times a day!!! Is it not pathetic to see some souls chained?
A teenaged or a young boy is often found attending the gym to raise his muscles above his shoulder but lowers his brain under his knees!! How can he expect others to think him handsome?
A teenaged or a young girl often seems to be lovely as long as she doesn’t open her mouth! Once she starts talking, a smart guy is sure to lose interest in her!
Please don’t take my comment as a generalized observation. I sincerely feel worried for such a misguided generation.
We’re experiencing a ‘confused generation’. Teenaged boys and girls often wait to be confused and so it’s really easy to confuse them with the simplest confidence trick! How can they hope of participating in greater decision-making without knowing what to decide and how to decide?
It’s never a good idea to generalize things, because some things are not really general. There are some persons who are always out of the 10 you can count. I personally feel a sharp contrast between our generation and the present generation. As I teach some students, I’ve been with a good number of teenaged and young minds for at least 8 years. I feel really surprised when I see that almost all of them have no taste for reading what isn’t required for passing the exam. They don’t read literature, as they think it won’t pay them in exams. They never go through poems though they write a good number of poems for their boyfriends or girlfriends. Just guess what type of indigestible DJ type poetic feeling they have. It’s often horrible even to imagine what they can think, feel or don’t think, feel…… They’re never convinced of things they can’t imagine or think. It’s really so easy to persuade them to do things they’re not supposed to do…… Now it’s really a world of fast things, viz fast food, fast study, fast dress, or even fast dating! Can you imagine what would happen to these fast generation when they’re left behind once and can’t proceed only because they’ve no knowledge how and why they’re fast!!….. They like a nice haircut, a nice look, a nice appearance… How long such things last really? Who will command the honour of others at the end of the day?….. What is the use of showing smartness without being smart? Is smartness just a thing to be seen not be understood? Such smart poor fellows are really miserable… Just leave them in the midst of some enlightened persons and see what happens. Just tell them to write on a topic in English, they’ll start crying in English instead of writing in English. I’ve the experience, I can tell you how they’re busy just worrying about how to show down themselves with muscular body, latest mobile phone, reckless speeches, slang words, hanging out with boyfriends or girlfriends and so many thousands of nuisances!!….. In most cases they’re emotionally abused, psychologically blackmailed, mentally indecisive, and so they lack the power to judge what self-dignity is…… The elders are often intimidated whenever they try to rectify the teens. They think they understand well enough, there’s no need to try to make them understand!
Thanks for reading me.

Every girl wants to be appreciated for her beauty, no matter whether she has it or not. So, you can’t be a good lover without being a better liar… Friends! Agree? Or, not?
First of all, I humbly beg your apology if my status message sounds objectionable to anyone of you. I know, I’m never good at dealing with girls. It’s often because I can’t tell lies with them (I confess, it’s because of my nervousness while talking to them…lol), sometimes because I consider many of them as my younger sisters (holy fool, as my friends call me) and sometimes because of my introvert nature (to be more specific, because of shyness). Now let me share some of my experience… (Please share yours too)
… I think when you’re in love, you don’t have enough time to think and decide…. I think, therefore I’m single!
(Original : I think, therefore I’m. —Jean Paul Sartre.)
…. I was waiting for a perfect girl throughout my life. At last I met one. But, alas! She was also waiting for a perfect boy. She appreciated my sense of humour, but I couldn’t appreciate hers…. (I hope this comment makes sense to you. )
Dear friends!….. Not that most lovely girls are dumb; some are married too…. Not that most ugly girls are intelligent; some are unmarried too!!….. IRONY OF FATE!!!
Thanks for your valued presence on my wall.

Yes, really a poor guy I’m, yet could never feel it for my masterpiece brain…… Dear friend! The written Hindi words are a mystery to me. Translation please…. (I’m sorry for my ignorance!)
Hmm… My mind has always tried to stay centred yet my brain revolted and turned it!! You must not blame me for it, huh!
… My heart has already been won by my friends and it is now being reshaped.
…. You’re most welcome to do the job, madam…. But, you don’t need to ‘reshape’ my brain, just try to ‘shape’ it. It’s still fresh, I’ve not used it yet.
… Yes madam, it’s so. I like virgin staffs…
… When my mind fails, my brain speaks. When my mind doesn’t fail, my stupid brain speaks again!
… I know, you, the architects, do the best when you do something with virgin staffs. I’m not an architect, but an idiot computer engineer who likes to make staffs virgin after having them programmed!!….lolz.
…. I think, it’s now better to leave my brain to a girl and see how she handles it. Nobody could ever handle such a ‘masterpiece’ brain better than a girl! Is there anyone to take its charge, please?…..lol
… Not all beautiful girls are dumb; some are married too!! Why are you forgetting it, madam?….lol
…. The fact is, the Lord created me as a masterpiece. Later on, my parents tried to recreate my brain and thus the earlier masterpiece was lost…. I was born genius, education ruined me.
…. So true in my status’ perspective!…lol
…. The great man without a working brain said it…

I’m so happy today to declare my younger brother Prashanta Paul a qualified student of CAT (Certified Accounting Technician), a worldwide recognized professional course of Accounting. Friends! Please pray for his future success and professional betterment.
My dear friends!
Please accept my heart-felt gratitude for your kind wish and felicitation on his success. Friends should never be far away while celebrating.
It’s really a nice feeling to celebrate the academic success of younger brother or sister. My brother’s accomplishments always give me more pleasure than mine. Younger brothers or sisters never grow old, they just grow up, I think. His smiling face is the greatest gift I can ever think of.
He has attained this success besides running my giftshop ‘DOVANA’ (along with his friend) and hopefully enough, this business maintenance has already provided a real-field orientation for him regarding inter-personal relationship, office management and above all, a professional attitude-formation. Through this success, he has stepped forward to the second phase of the professional course, ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants).
Let’s wish his every success.
Wow! I really feel very blessed to be in the midst of a constellation of friends like you. I don’t know whether I deserve such a great care of such precious friends. Thank you for being with me in this pleasant moment.
If you ever see my brother, you’ll be surprised how much he resembles my face, my appearance (you can see him in my photo album) though he is junior to me by 4 years. One dissimilarity is, he is not a bookworm like me (with due apology), but he knows better what to read, why to read and how to read. Yes, he is still accustomed to a lot of childish thoughts and tasks even at this age of 22! He never grows old, just grows up!
I’m sorry for writing much about him if it creates annoyance for you. I’m eagerly waiting for the day when he would be ACCA qualified and I can celebrate with all of you with a big party. Yes, I promise a big big celebration.
May he retain the strength for crossing the next hurdles.
Thanks a ton for your dignified presence on my wall.
…. Yes, you commented on his pictures, I can remember. He takes after me so much…. I highly appreciate your friendly approach and it’s really nice to meet you here in Facebook… I feel honoured at your kind promise. Thank you.
My dear friends! I think, I could pay back the loan of gold, but I’m afraid I would die forever in debt to you for being so kind to share my joys!!
How beautiful a success can be
When congratulation touches it!
I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom.

Sushanta Paul Dear friends!
Another one for all of you…. Read the two letters below and see how oddly the meaning varies for misplaced punctuation marks…
I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart. I can be forever happy—will you let me be yours?

Dear friends! If anyone of you has celebrated today’s Eid leaving your parents in Old Homes, please remove me from your friend-list… my apology…
…. I just watched a TV report on how helplessly some old parents have to pass such occasions in Old Homes. Their silent cry touched my soul and filled my heart with a passionate resentment. Please let’s not be ungrateful ever.

It’s never a fair deal, you know. And, I think, I’ve no right to stand on the way a person thinks or likes to think. So, my apology can’t but accompany my request… Thanks dear.
My dear friends!….. Good Morning. Have a nice day ahead.
….. None of us wants to age, but aging is inevitable making us insecure, forgetful and fearful. Yes, the elderly can easily become a burden to the families they once provided and protected. The children who once vied for their parents’ attention, are now consumed with their own affairs that they hardly can ever manage to visit. For many parents, the stench of ammonia in hospital-like atmosphere of a nursing/old home is worse than death. To most of them, it signifies loneliness, cruelty and abandonment. With all the turmoil involved in the aging process, it is no wonder that we’re heading towards a generation of frightened adults, forever searching for that magical youth serum from the elusive fountain of youth. The picture is not so horrible in the Oriental societies yet as in the Western ones, but things seem to be changing now. I still hold a very very conservative view regarding familial bondage and values….. Thanks for reading my wall.
…. I know I’m not an easy guy to put up with. It’s my parents who did the best for this worst son. For them, I’m what I’m and I’m not what I’m not. Yes, the greatest deal they’ve made for me. They do what they’re supposed to and even what they’re not supposed to…. I’ve not seen God, but I’ve seen my parents. It’s enough for my prayer, for my worship. God has always been second to my parents and teachers.
….. You always have kind words for me. So great of you. …. These days, I’m really lacking poetic insights, I don’t know the reason, but it happens. Hope to be back to my blissful days, and I’m working on it. I’d pass over this intervention, for sure!…….. I sigh for my studious youth……. Would you not forgive my temporary stupidity?
…. We often think that we’d be wiser than our parents when we reach that age, but we always forget that we might have a son/daughter at that time who might also think so and do the same to us as we’re doing to our parents. This process is reversible, no doubt. Some of us fail to understand the trauma of their parents with a drop in income and growing infirmity and such a failure results in dwindling the parents’ confidence and sense of security. I’ve even seen some houses where the old parents are relegated to the position of housekeepers and babysitters. No wonder, life of such indignity, dependence and resignation often makes them start awaiting death. Can we ever escape from paying our dues when it’s time for payment? If our children are taught to celebrate occasions without their grandparents, time will come, when their children would be taught the same!!
….. Dost, I think I’ve no worth of being friends with such so-called elite-class people. I personally know a person who have 2 Ph D’s and is thought to be a highly sophisticated intellectual. There was no room left for his parents in his enormous apartment though it has accommodated some pets and servants. Is it called aristocracy? Is it called culture? What is the use of all the weath of the world if you’ve lost your own soul?

What is the best job/employment considering financial and social security? Friends, please, share your view here…
…. That’s a very good creative idea. Exploring for alternative energy resources and trading time for it would be a profitable platform to reach, no doubt. There’re some problems too. Anyone intended to be engaged here must acquire an overall knowledge on how to start, where to start, why to start (vision) and finally comes the decision. There’s no one around to help or encourage. Everyone is going to suggest not to start as few started it and made it a successful enterpreneurship. So, how to overcome these hurdles? Can anyone who doesn’t have a financial security think seriously of getting involved into this track? Thanks.
…. That wouldn’t be a safe zone for an idiot like me, I think! Thanks.
…….. I’ve liked the idea and suggestion. It’s all about agro-based business. Few people are here. And, this sectors really claim some smart entrepreneurs. I thought it earlier and also analyzed some of its prospects. I consulted with some experts regarding Dragon Fruit and Strawberry farming and they showed keen interest in helping me. I’ve found some problems :
No one is here to accompany.
No one is eager to discover an engineer (or, an educated youth) being involved in this ‘ordinary’ (so-called) sector.
I’ve found no helping hand to associate with this task.
Society pays little values to such projects.
I’ve little financial knowledge to initiate an entrepreneurship (I own a small business, though).
But finally, I’m thinking seriously again after reading your suggestion. Yes, it’s true my thoughts flow at some unusual tracks. I’ve the impulse, but not the courage(probably). Probably it’s time I thought more about it. The most attractive renumeration of this sector, I think, is performing the commitment to my country and country people. Thank you very much for your valuable suggestion.
……….. That’s a nice plan. I’ve been teaching for the last 9 years and I think this is a nice sector to work with. But here are some fewer rewarding things too (in our country’s perspective). Thank you for sharing your view.
……….. “do something b4 you find urself in a loop”…. excellent idea!! I wholeheartedly welcome any initiative, proposal, project-planning or any collaboration in this regard if you’re really interested. What we need most is cooperation and a sound start. If you feel like sharing any type of suggestions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.
… Thank you, Sir, for your presence on my wall…. I wrote, that’d be a one-stop solution for my wife and it means no one has availed herself of this solution yet as this solution isn’t available due to not arising problems….lol
Now about your second comment… In my case exclusively, my personal liking drives me more than my academic qualification. I’ve not the least intention to build up my career as a computer engineer…
Now Sir, about your third comment…. Why do your suggest being a government professional? I’ve liked this idea as there is ample opportunity of serving my country and nation. Apart from this, what features make it a standalone priority?
….. Thank you Sir for those wonderful inspiring words. Today or tomorrow I’ll expand my working arena to agro-based and relevant sectors. I’ve this future plan. I’ll let you know my plans through mails. Your suggestions are highly anticipated in this regard. Thanks a lot for writing here.
…. So kind of you, Sir…. Yes, I’m highly interested to launch some projects and need some advisory help from an expert. If you kindly extend your help, that surely will be a nice support for me. I’ll let you know my plans and present thoughts through a message. Where is it convenient for you to receive it? Would it be ok if I sent it in your inbox through Facebook? Please let me know.
…. Ok, I’ll mail you through Facebook within three days. Thank you, Sir.
…. Thank you, Sir, for your further suggestion. Before I read your suggestion, I had always been thinking about involving myself in any non-IT based sector. Yes, I’m now thinking of getting higher studies on IT, but I’m still reluctant to be on that stream professionally. I can expand my working arena to some IT sectors as an amateur basis. Thanks for making me think twice.
I’ve always thought how to fulfil my commitment to my country, my society, my family and above all, to myself. The last one must precede the earlier ones. And, I’m now trying on this regard. I agree with you on the point that being a bureaucrat is the best gateway to access to public affairs. This surely provides ample provision for financial, social, personal, familial security and for fulfilling my commitment to my state and countrymen. And, I’m now planning to switch myself to that arena. So, far as I know, you had been serving as a doctor of military dept of Indian Govt before you retired officially. I salute your service to your state and its people. Again, being a private practitioner must have not brought the honour you’ve enjoyed and are still enjoying. Such type of service is always highly praise-worthy.
…. Thank you, madam, for writing on my wall. I must deem your comment a hearty compliment as it comes from you. I don’t know whether I’ve intellect or not, but surely, I’m not still enjoying its fruit. What I’ve shown up to this stage of my life is nothing but a bulk of stupidities. But, I don’t regret. Life didn’t come to me with a user-manual. So, I’ve every right to use and abuse it!!
…. You’re most welcome to write, suggest, share on any topic, no matter it’s taken positively or not. Your idea on my status highly conformed to its relevance. Thank you for being with me.

ভালোবেসে, সখী, নিভৃতে যতনে/ আমার নামটি লিখো—তোমার/ মনের মন্দিরে। . . . . . . . (O my dear! Please keep my name secretly in the temple of your soul with the care that your love for me claims.)
“temple of your soul”…..
I walked on the wall of darkness,
Love made its journey to my soul,
I wonder I hardly noticed its pace,
Only discovered its essence in the silent music of darkness!
I thought, I drank the nectar of love to my heart,
But I sipped but a little!
I found myself entrapped with your eyes,
Even though I never dared ask you even just a kiss!

For thousands of years I roamed the paths of this earth,
From waters round Ceylon in dead of night to Malayan seas.
Much have I wandered. I was there in the grey world of Asoka
And Bimbisara, pressed on through darkness to the city of Vidarbha.
I am a weary heart surrounded by life’s frothy ocean.
To me she gave a moment’s peace — Banalata Sen from Natore*.
Her hair was like an ancient darkling night in Vidisa,
Her face, the craftsmanship of Sravasti. As the helmsman,
His rudder broken, far out upon the sea adrift,
Sees the grass-green land of a cinnamon isle, just so
Through darkness I saw her. Said she, “Where have you been so long?”
And raised her bird’s nest-like eyes — Banalata Sen from Natore.
At day’s end, like hush of dew
Comes evening. A hawk wipes the scent of sunlight fom its wings.
When earth’s colors fade and some pale design is sketched,
Then glimmering fireflies paint in the story.
All birds come home, all rivers, all of this life’s tasks finished.
Only darkness remains, as I sit there face to face with Banalata Sen.
To Celia (one of my favourites)
………………by Ben Jonson
Drink to me only with thine eyes,
And I will pledge with mine;
Or leave a kiss but in the cup
And I’ll not look for wine.
The thirst that from the soul doth rise
Doth ask a drink divine;
But might I of Jove’s nectar sup,
I would not change for thine.
I sent thee late a rosy wreath,
Not so much honouring thee
As giving it a hope that there
It could not wither’d be;
But thou thereon didst only breathe,
And sent’st it back to me;
Since when it grows, and smells, I swear,
Not of itself but thee!

Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just have to find ones worth suffering for.
As I’ve approached the middle of my youth, I can realize it’s better to love and to be loved and so to be hurt than not to hurt and to be hurt at all…. Being hurt is compulsory but feeling hurt is optional. I’m quite good at the second option, as no one ever seemed worth suffering for. I’d rather like to leave a promise unpromised than to bear the agonies of promise. A promise in veil is always more powerful than a promise revealed!! And, I live by this.
…. Youth can’t be always framed by age. And, in this sense, 56 can be called the end of youth. So, my youth can be said to continue 3 decades further, a great challenge with age, no doubt! I salute your spirit, Sir!
Yes, life is not always too easy to feel unhurt. The greatest attack I’ve ever felt is from within rather than from without. I myself am good enough to control such feelings. People around just add some sauce to it. It’s the crudest reality I’ve still learnt.
….. Yes, true. To wait to suffer is more painful than to suffer, I think. It’s better to suffer alone than to suffer for a wrong person. And, that’s what poets call ‘the bliss of solitude’!
