Reflection

I've lost my reflection in your
gaze, my today is no longer there,
at most, my memory.

Your eyes continue to sing,
in quiet hazelnuts, the shadow of who we went,
but far, so far away,
that an expanding universe looks
like a molecule in the distance of your absence.

You're gone,
without separating yourself from me,
and in the echo of your voice vibrates my loss.
